To look at the date boggles my mind. Sept 5th? what happened to the summer? This past summer had to be the best summer of my short life. Time is tricky. I mean, I am 24 yrs old. The oldest I have ever been! -that's a strange thought- A young buck compared to my grandparents. Old compared to baby Adam and Augie mc-doggie. Extremely young compared to a tree. Uncomprehensibly young compared to a rock. As far as the universe is concerned my life is so utterly short it's not even recognizable. But friday seemed extremly long to me. I can remember a few saturdays this summer that were painstakingly long, unbareably long. Days that seemed like they would never ever end. But now i'm here. Months later, on September 5th. 2010. 24 years old and still nervous about the first few weeks of school. If only the summer could last forever.

(Above) Ariel ran her first half marathon a few weeks ago. Out of approximately 5-600 people, she finished 4th out of women and 23rd overall!!!! Let me emphasize that this was her first half-marathon!!! As you can imagine i'm very impressed by her dedication and very proud of her!

1. Ariel's career 2. college update

Ariel just got a job working at dixie middle school as a special ed (probably not P.C.) teachers assistant , right down the street from our house. This means that all of my hot-for-teacher fantasies will finally be coming true!!!

no really though, this is awesome and I am soooo flippin' proud of her...

Even though I'm trying to ignore it, school will be starting up here again in less than a month and we get the awesome opportunity to do all those awesome school preperation things like registering for classes and grants and financial aid and insurance etc. etc..... oh, and I get to take my math placement test which I am super thrilled about! The excitement is almost unbearable and its already physically manifesting itself in both of us as uncontrollable euphoria, goosebumps, migranes, confusion, amnesia, hypochondrianism-ism, excessive flatulence, cold-sweats, procrastination, heat-stoke, and possibly death.

Man, I love summer!

There is one up side to all of this, Ariel will have a good excuse to buy me new clothes and shoes and trapper keepers and mustache trimmers and all that good stuff!

re-birth

UHHHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMM, wow I just read my old blogs and my oh my was i angry. I thought about deleting them, but I never let Ariel delete pictures or throw away her notebooks because thats like deleting history. right? So I'll leave them up so I don't feel like a hipocrite! oh, yeah I can't speel either.

So, lifes good! scratch that, lifes fantastic! Me and Ariel have been through Hell and back but we made it through. anyway, I'm gunna throw up some pictures now! hope you like.
